Let Us Praise the Lord

Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. — Psalm 150

Early in the morning they rise and praise the Lord. Everyday, they praise the Lord. This is my gift from God. This raised bed has taught me so much about the Lord our God. One of the lessons I have learned is to rise early in the morning and praise God like them. Even in the heaviest downpours they stand tall and praise God. Then they bow and worship the Lord. The first time I saw it [my zucchini plant] closed up, I thought something was wrong. But God taught me it was resting. You see resting is worship also. You rise early and serve the Lord through praise and you rest afterwords and worship. That’s God!

Of course I would love to see the zucchini produce. But I’m having so much fun learning about my Father in my big backyard. Between the squirrels eating the crops and the birds too; and watching vegetable plants produce flowers too. I’m having a good time learning…all else will be added.

Be encouraged. Be inspired. Be who God created you to be.

    1. Amen Jeff!! You just helped to inspire an activity for the children’s ministry. If you were a vegetable, what would you be? Thank you for reblogging and for continuing to praise the Lord with all of us.

      1. lol. That’s funny. Now I must wonder if any of them will actually pick an onion. Glad the reblog worked out. I won’t be posting my stuff but maybe a few times a week. I’m probably going to add a few here and there using reblogs. I hope it sent some traffic your way. I received a few likes from. Many blessings to you this weekend.
