Dead On Arrival

Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. — Matthew 27:50-53

Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!

In Ezekiel 37:3, The Lord asked Ezekiel, “Can these bones live?” And Ezekiel’s response to the Lord was, “Lord you know.”

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. — Matthew 10:28

Man has no heaven or hell to put you in. They can say whatever they may to you and they may do whatever they choose to do to you, but know this, They can not kill you.

And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. — Job 1:12a

And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him. — Genesis 4:15

Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket. — Acts 9:25

The Lord will not and does not allow anyone to kill you. Only God has power over life and death.

See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. — Deuteronomy 32:39

In 2002, I was pronounced as dead on arrival. My body had sustained thirteen stab wounds to my left chest, a collapsed lung, spinal damage, and nerve damage. While my body had sustained all of these damages and blows, my Spirit did not. There was still a power working in me that was greater than the one who attacked my flesh.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. — 1 John 4:4

Now, I could have looked at the situation and claimed it as mine and died right there; But glory to God, that he said, She shall live and not die! The very thing that was meant to kill me, was the very thing God allowed me to experience [go through] so that he could show me and teach me that it is in him that I live and move and have my being. (Acts 17:28) God allowed for me to die, so that he could provide me with the life he created me to live [Glory to God].

When you read the above scripture, you see that Jesus had to die, so that all of those that were buried in their graves could come alive and live again. Glory to God! Hallelujah! All of those saints, all of God’s children [For God so loved the world; not some, but the world, all of us] was given the power of life to rise from the dead with Jesus Christ on that day and they went forth and appeared unto many to see and know that He is the Messiah and He is Lord! Hallelujah!

And so it is on today. When the Lord told me to, Wake up, Wake up, Wake up, he was not telling me to wake up and turn over on my stomach. Nope! God told me to wake up because he had a very important message he needed to give me. He told me to wake up again because he wanted me to see what I looked like versus who he created me to be. The Lord told me to wake for a second time, because he wanted to show and tell me what he needed me to do, while he was doing what he was doing for me. The Lord told me to wake up again, for the third time. This time he would anoint me with his Spirit and send me forth into the world to preach and teach the things concerning Jesus Christ and the acceptable year of our Lord.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. — Isaiah 61:1-3

And so to go back to the question that God asked Ezekiel, the answer is YES!

Whatever you are experiencing right now is a test. It is a test to see if you will obey the Lord your God or believe the lies of the devil. The promises of God are ye [YES] and amen [IT IS SO].

For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. — Psalm 119:89

Everything that God has spoken about you was spoken before you were even formed in your mother’s womb. Everything that God has told you about you is true. Everything that God has told you about that situation [eviction, debt, sadness, sorrow, grief, death, assassination of character, etc.] is true. You are the head and not the tail. You are above ONLY and not beneath. You are a lender and not the borrower. No longer are you called desolate. No longer are you barren. No longer are you poor in spirit. No more are you your past and no longer does your past exist.

So rejoice on this day, for this is the day that the Lord has made. It is time for you to rise and serve the Lord your God. The God of Israel. The God of Abraham. The God of Isaac. The God of Jacob. The same God that brought you out of the situation that seemed impossible to overcome. The same God that removed the cancer. The same God that increased your blood when they told you that your blood was too low. The same God that overturned the conviction. The same God that restored your marriage. The same God that was then is the same God that lives on today.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. — Hebrew 13:8

So rise up on today. And when you get up, raise up the standard. That standard being Jesus Christ and the Blood of Jesus! Take no thought for the morrow. But on today, let everything that has breath PRAISE THE LORD! HALLELUJAH!! GLORY TO GOD!!

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. — John 12:32

Victory belongs to Jesus and Victory now belongs to you!

Be encouraged. Be inspired. Be who God created you to be.
