Checks in the mail

Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. — Matthew 4:23

My ✔ (check) in the mail.

Not what you think. I needed this check. Recently, I made a big decision. While I could have chosen the road I normally traveled in such a situation, I chose the road less traveled. Because I walk by faith and not by sight, I was determined to believe God and pursue where he sent me to instead of returning “home.” My work is here. This is where God sent me and this is the work he gave me to do. Sometimes you walk into a place and you are like, “What in the world am I supposed to do with this?” Or “How am I going to accomplish this Lord, I don’t have the resources or tools needed; I don’t have the support, I don’t have the money.” You start feeling like am I doing something wrong? You start questioning should you jump ship and join the other fish in the sea. And then the Spirit of the Lord begins to remind you that he called you. And if he could allow you to survive your wilderness experience, then he will absolutely cause you to prosper in the land he has given you. Don’t become consumed with who you thought or who you wanted. Tonight, I pray that you go before the Lord and lay everything out before him like how you lay out your clothes for the party or club or work or church. Get everything out and be honest and true. Then watch the Lord reveal to you the next step. I promise you it will be worth it because he see you as worth it.

Be encouraged. Be inspired. Be who God created you to be.
