I bless God on this morning for being not only God but being my Shepherd. For leading me and guiding me and watching over me and these children. I sat up and continued studying in Exodus and then I prayed at midnight. Order my steps Father…
Teach me, O Lord , the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end. Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart. Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts. — Psalms 119:33-34, 133-134 KJV
Spending the day diligently trusting God and being confident that God is on the throne. That means he is alive and he is not only in control, but he reigns. And he is omnipotent (ALL [THE] POWER [I NEED] AND ALL POWERFUL) you can’t lose with God leading the way. Going before you. With God you already WON. You have victory. Only a fool would choose to go in their own way, when God has gone before you and shown you the way. He is the way. He is the truth. He is the light.
John 3:30…He must increase, but I must decrease.
I can’t increase unless God increases and God can only increase when I decrease.
So Father I sit at your right hand today and be still knowing that you will not lead me into temptation. You will not cause me to sin. You will not trick me into not believing your word to be the only truth. No matter what comes my way, my life is in your hands. I trust you Father and when I rest in you and let your word to rest in me, I can now see what you say by faith and by faith [believing in you God] I receive. I don’t receive anything from you by force or doing it my way. That is robbing you [of all your glory] of what belongs to you: everything belongs to you; the earth and the fullness thereof. That is being a thief. That is being a murderer. That is being a destroyer; one who sabotages. That is of the enemy.
However, today I choose to enter in at the door and you are that door. And when I enter in through the door I walk into everything I need in abundance. And you freely give it all to me with no withholdings. So with no withholdings, I give you my heart on today. And will sing praises unto you. I know that as I sing unto you, all those mountains before me will melt, the same way it is written about Deborah and Barak. The same way it is written about Joshua fighting the battle at Jericho. The same way it is written about the Israelites crossing the Red Sea on dry ground. I commit my Spirit into your hands. I give up my ways and my thoughts. Thoughts of depression, sadness, anger, pain, feeling overwhelmed, anxiety, being in a haste; whatever thoughts that are not of you, that are not good for us. And as I decrease, you now increase in my life. More love, more joy, more peace, more goodness, more faith, more gentleness, more humility, more temperance, more long-suffering (patience and endurance; counting it all joy). Trusting and knowing that all else will be added. Let us serve you with open hands and not wringing our hands with closed fists.
God must increase, but we must decrease. Amen.
Be encouraged. Be inspired. Be who God created you to be.
